Yesterday, I had a brief yet meaningful conversation with Barbara O’Neill before she left for her flight to Mumbai. In the little time we had, I shared with her something that has become deeply evident through our own experiences with healing.

I told her that we have witnessed many people recover and resolve symptoms even without strict diet protocols — sometimes with none at all. Many of these individuals had already followed every possible dietary recommendation and natural healing protocol, yet relief only came when an underlying emotional conflict was resolved. While Barbara teaches many valuable health practices, I expressed that she too must have observed that not everyone heals through diet alone. Perhaps that is also why she encourages people to trust in Divine Will.
I explained how our understanding through Germanic Healing Knowledge (GHK) leads us to focus first on emotions, because behind every disease there appears to be an unresolved emotional conflict. The moment I mentioned this, she immediately resonated with it. I shared my own experience of resolving migraine in a single session after identifying and resolving a deep feeling of helplessness.
What struck me most was realizing that Barbara herself already lives many of these principles naturally. She prays every morning. She maintains an awareness of the Divine. Through prayer and inner alignment, she likely prevents emotional shocks from becoming isolated traumatic conflicts within the psyche. It made me reflect deeply that perhaps the secret behind her vitality is not merely diet protocols, but the way she lives — connected, prayerful, emotionally grounded, and spiritually aware.
That conversation broadened my own understanding. I realized that if we truly resolve our emotions and remain connected to Divine awareness, we naturally begin honoring what God has provided through creation. We move away from what is driven by greed and disconnection. Health then becomes less about fear-based control and more about conscious engagement with life.
Barbara was also curious about my children and our lifestyle. She asked about our lotus birth experience and the age of my eldest daughter. I could sense that her real interest lies in preserving ancient wisdom and older ways of living in harmony with creation and Divine intelligence. That, perhaps, became my greatest lesson from meeting her.
I also shared with her that many people follow her methods sincerely and yet continue struggling with chronic issues such as obesity and other conditions. Even yesterday, several people had come to meet her hoping to lose weight despite following numerous protocols. As I spoke with some of them, I noticed recurring emotions of self-devaluation and inner inadequacy.
Viewing Barbara’s teachings now through the lens of GHK, I see them differently. Her protocols may not simply be nutritional recommendations; many of them may unconsciously help people avoid biological conflicts — such as starvation conflicts, abandonment conflicts, or self-devaluation conflicts. In that sense, her methods and GHK appear far more connected than I initially understood.
The meeting left me with a beautiful realization: healing is not merely about what we eat, but about how we live, what we believe, how we feel, and whether we remain connected to the Divine within us. Diet can support the body, but peace, prayer, awareness, and conflict resolution may be what truly allow healing to unfold.
