Constipation

From the Germanic Healing Knowledge (GHK/GNM) framework, constipation is not viewed simply as a problem of diet or bowel mechanics. The interpretation depends on which part of the intestine/rectum is involved and what the person experienced emotionally/biologically.

1. “I can’t pass or move something forward”

For the intestinal musculature, learningGNM describes the biological conflict as “not being able to pass an indigestible morsel.” The “morsel” can be literal food or something figurative that feels impossible to digest, process, or move forward—such as a situation, decision, dispute, or unresolved matter.

The proposed GHK sequence is:

Unexpected situation → “I can’t move this forward” → intestinal muscle activation → slowed peristalsis elsewhere → constipation/bloating.

2. “I can’t get rid of this”

For the sigmoid/upper rectal muscles, GHK associates constipation with a “feces conflict” / “shit conflict.” In the figurative sense, this can mean experiencing a situation as extremely unpleasant or “shitty” while feeling unable to eliminate, escape, or get rid of it.

Questions to explore might therefore be:

  • What am I unable to get rid of?
  • What situation do I desperately want to evacuate from my life?
  • What am I holding onto even though I want to let it go?
  • What feels “indigestible” or impossible to process?
  • What happened shortly before the constipation began?

3. Conflict-active vs. healing phase

In the GHK model, constipation can occur particularly during the conflict-active phase, when the autonomic nervous system is in a stress/sympathetic state and digestion slows. The learningGNM material also notes that insufficient fluid intake can independently contribute to hard, difficult-to-pass stool.

So, in this framework, constipation doesn’t necessarily mean “I have a constipation conflict.” It can be a manifestation accompanying different active conflicts.

4. Chronic constipation

For someone with long-standing constipation, I would investigate repeated tracks/relapses rather than looking for one isolated emotional event.

A useful GHK-style exploration would be:

Trigger → emotional perception → biological conflict → constipation → fear/frustration about constipation → repeated perception → relapse.

That can create a self-reinforcing cycle.

There is also a GHK association between prolonged constipation and pelvic-floor self-devaluation; learningGNM describes chronic constipation among situations that can be associated with weakening of the pelvic-floor muscles.

A simple GHK interpretation

Constipation = “Something is stuck.”
Biologically: I cannot move this morsel forward / I cannot eliminate this situation.
Emotionally: I can’t process it, release it, or get rid of it.
Investigation: What was happening in my life when my bowel stopped moving normally?

We can Surrender the Conflict as we identify it and then can expect relief as per the laws discovered by Dr hamer.
