Timeline of the HPV Vaccine in India
July 2009 – Illegal HPV Vaccine Trials
In 2009, illegal HPV vaccine trials were conducted by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in India. During these trials, seven girls died.

In his 2010 TED Talk, Bill Gates openly discussed reducing the world’s population by 10-15% through vaccines.
August 2013 –72nd Parliamentary Report
According to the 72nd Parliamentary Standing Committee report presented on 30 August 2013, the HPV vaccine demonstration projects were suspended after reports of the deaths of seven girls in Andhra Pradesh & Gujarat during 2009–2010.
In Kalpana Mehta & Ors. vs. Union of India & Ors. (WP(C) No. 558 of 2012), a 5-judge Constitution Bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra held that the 72nd (2013) and 81st (2014) Parliamentary Standing Committee Reports on HPV trials could be relied upon as evidence in court.
This means that the illegal and unethical HPV trials resulting in the deaths of seven girls were proven as murder by the Supreme Court.
February 2017 – Centre shuts health mission gate on Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
The Centre has shut the gate on the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on a critical national health mission, and possible conflict of interest issues arising from the foundation’s “ties” with pharmaceutical companies is one of the reasons.

February 2026 – Launch of Gardasil in India
On 28th February, India is launcing the Gardasil vaccine, which is to be administered WITH MANDATORY PARENTAL CONSENT to girls above 14 years of age.
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is a founding and major donor partner of Gavi which finances and procures Gardasil HPV vaccines for India.

This timeline leaves one big question: who will protect India’s daughters—especially children in government schools which are directly under government control and consent is a farce.
