What is a separation conflict?
It occurs when someone is suddenly and unexpectedly separated from a loved one—such as a parent, partner, sibling, or pet.
Conflict-Active Phase
During this phase, the skin becomes numb, dry, and cold. There may be emotional withdrawal and loss of tactile sensation.
Healing Phase
